By law, all UK cars over three years old must have a valid MOT certificate. The content and standards required by the test are set by the Vehicle Inspectorate. A valid certificate is also vital for insurance and tax purposes.
The MOT test can be carried out up to 28 days prior to the expiry date of your existing MOT certificate. But don’t worry about loss of cover. Book your car in as soon as possible – we’ll simply post date your new certificate to the end date of the old one.

What does it involve?

Note: An MOT certificate only relates to the condition of testable items at the time of the test. It should not be regarded as evidence of the condition of the items tested at any other time nor should it be taken as evidence of the general mechanical condition of the vehicle.
